Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia presents at the annual meeting of the National Academy of Sciences

Some of the nation’s most prominent researchers are getting together on April 28th for the annual meeting of the National Academy of Sciences. A handful of the academy’s newest members are discussing their research in livestreamed talks.

 

Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia has created human microlivers in her MIT lab to model liver disease and study how the liver metabolizes drugs. She also uses nanotechnology to research better treatments for liver disease and cancer. You can watch her talk here.
