LMRT member and senior undergraduate Tiffany Yeh explores health care and poverty through working abroad, and cultivates her love of music while at home. As a sophomore, she joined LMRT where she has worked with postdoc Simone Schurle on magnetic microrobots called artificial bacterial flagella. These tiny robotic particles are modelled after the flagellar tails of the bacteria E. coli and are actuated by an external magnetic field.
