Postdoctoral
Positions
HEPATIC
TISSUE ENGINEERING Postdoctoral research positions are available to
study the role of cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions in regulating hepatocyte phenotype for cell-based therapies. Our
laboratory uses microfabrication tools to study the
structure/function relationship of the liver. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or
M.D. degree with expertise in microfabrication, liver
biology, stem cells, biomaterials, polymer chemistry,
or tissue engineering.
BIOMEDICAL
MICROFABRICATION AND NANOTECHNOLOGY Postdoctoral research
positions are available to integrate micro and nanotechnologies with living cells and tissues. Candidates
should have a Ph.D. degree with expertise in microfabrication, nanomaterials,
bioconjugate chemistry, microfluidics, or polymer chemistry.
UROP Positions
UROP positions are available in all areas of research: MEMS applications to tissue engineering, developing new tools for investigating cell-cell interactions, and the creation of nanoparticles for cancer targeting and therapeutic delivery.
Students should be self-motivated and eager to broaden their horizons by applying their course studies to bioengineering research. Please include undergraduate GPA with resume.
All interested applications, please send curriculum vitae, names of three
referees, and a summary of research experience and interests to:
